Comparison of Analysis Between Rectangular and Circular Overhead Water Tank

نویسندگان

چکیده

Water tank is a container used for the storing of liquids and they are classified based on shape location. The overhead an important it very common public utility structure. study predicts analysis design rectangular circular water using ETABS software. modeled analyzed by dynamic to resist lateral loads made working stress method manually. Dead load, live wind load seismic applied IS codes. behavior structure parameters like Story drift, displacement, stiffness, deflection, storey shear, base area steel hoop tension studied then comparison results between tank. By this we say that suitable larger capacity smaller economical capacity.

Cooling Performance Analysis of Water-Cooled Heat Sinks with Circular and Rectangular Minichannels Using Finite Volume Method

In this paper, the cooling performance of water-cooled heat sinks for heat dissipation from electronic components is investigated numerically. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations are carried out to study the rectangular and circular cross-sectional shaped heat sinks. The sectional geometry of channels affects the flow and heat transfer characteristics of minichannel heat sinks. T...

Seismic Analysis of Rectangular Concrete Tanks by Considering Fluid and Tank Interaction

Many liquid storage tanks around the world have affected by earthquakes. This structure can store dangerous chemical liquids. Hence dynamic behavior of ground supported rectangular storage tanks is very important due to their applications in industrial facilities. In current research, the seismic behavior of two water storage rectangular concrete tanks is examined. For this purpose, these tanks...

an infinite planar array of rectangular microstrip patch antenna analysis

the methods which are used to analyze microstrip antennas, are divited into three categories: empirical methods, semi-empirical methods and full-wave analysis. empirical and semi-empirical methods are generally based on some fundamental simplifying assumptions about quality of surface current distribution and substrate thickness. thses simplificatioms cause low accuracy in field evaluation. ful...
